We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the SANY Northern Europe family: Micke Lindqvist, who joins us as Key Account Manager on the crane sales team. You can connect with Micke on LinkedIn by clicking here.

Micke brings with him deep industry experience, a strong customer focus, and a personal passion for craftsmanship — both in heavy machinery and, interestingly, winemaking! His background and enthusiasm make him a fantastic addition as we continue to expand across the Nordic region.

We had a quick Q & A with Micke which you can read below.

What are you looking forward to the most working here at SANY?
I’m really looking forward to working at SANY because I’m genuinely impressed by the high quality of the products. It’s clear that SANY is continuously investing in the development and improvement of its machines to deliver top-tier quality to its customers. I also find it incredibly exciting to be part of building up the crane division in the Nordic region – an area full of potential and opportunities.

What initially drew you to your field of work?
I’ve always had a strong interest in large machines and trucks since I was young. I started my career as a truck driver, but soon realized that the lifting industry was where I truly wanted to be. I made the decision to join a transport company that focused heavily on cranes and lifting operations, where I worked as a driver for six years. That experience led me into a sales role at a machinery company, where I worked for two years – and now, that journey has brought me to SANY.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve ever collected?
I have a great passion for red wine, which has grown into a true hobby of mine. I collect various red wines from around the world, and I’ve even started producing both red and white wine at home using grapes that I purchase myself. It’s a hobby that combines knowledge, patience, and curiosity – something I find both rewarding and enjoyable.
That said, it’s a bit unfortunate that red wine tastes so good… the collection never seems to grow very large!

What’s your go-to way to unwind and recharge after a busy week?
To unwind after a busy week, I love going downhill biking during the summer – it gives me both a thrill and a sense of freedom. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. Sometimes, just a good glass of red wine and a great TV series is all I need to relax and recharge.

Welcome Micke — we’re thrilled to have you on board.
