Exciting news from SANY Group! We can confirm that four fully electric SANY SKT105E mining trucks have been deployed at the Kibali Gold Mine—a groundbreaking first for the end customer DTP. This marks a significant step forward in our shared commitment towards more sustainable mining practices.

Equipped with two electric motors delivering a peak power of 740 kW and a 420-kWh battery, these trucks represent a major advancement in reducing environmental impact. This initiative is expected to cut DTP’s carbon footprint by up to 80% when compared to previous solutions for this specific application, and eliminate approximately 900 tons of CO₂ emissions annually.

Powered by green electricity from our client’s hydropower installation, this project aligns with our vision for a more responsible and environmentally conscious future in mining.
